I moved to East Tennessee in 1994 from California. I've grown to love this area where everything is green and water is in abundant supply. The beauty of Tennessee is absolutely amazing, and the area affords both transplants and natives a plethora of activities from which to choose. From shopping, bluegrass music, hiking and river floating in the Smoky Mountains to the theaters and restaurants in downtown Knoxville and Maryville, I've become a Southern Girl at heart.  I raised my children in Knoxville where they each attended The University of Tennessee. With all three of my children continuing to make East Tennessee their home, we have embraced the traditions unique to our great city. We feel so thankful for the generosity of the people who took us in and welcomed us.
